Ibzan, Israel’s Ninth Judge

⁸ After he died,^[a] Ibzan from Bethlehem governed Israel for ten years. ⁹ He had 30 sons and 30 daughters, but he gave his daughters^[b] in marriage to outsiders and brought in 30 outsiders^[c] for his sons. He governed Israel for seven years, ¹⁰ then he died and was buried in Bethlehem.
